YOUR CONTRACT
We use several different carriers for UK and worldwide orders. The size and/or weight of your package will define which carrier we use as detailed below:
1ST CLASS ROYAL MAIL
1st class postage with NO signature required on delivery. Used for smaller packages that can usually fit through your letterbox. Orders usually arrive next working day, although occasionally delays can occur. No tracking information available.
1ST CLASS RECORDED ROYAL MAIL
1st class postage with signature required on delivery. Used for larger and more valuable packages that will not fit through your letterbox. Orders usually arrive next working day, although occasionally delays can occur. Tracking information only available after delivery.
SPECIAL DELIVERY ROYAL MAIL
Used usually only by special request where customer requires it. Subject to extra charge.
PARCEL FORCE 24 OR 48
Up to 48 hour delivery services to anywhere in the UK. Used for all orders consisting of large or bulky packages. Signature required on delivery. Detailed online tracking information is available.
ROYAL MAIL INTERNATIONAL SIGNED FOR SERVICE
Used for world wide delivery on items under 2 kilo's which conform to Royal Mails maximum volumes policy. Cost estimates will be given to customer before order is accepted. Limited tracking is available.
PARCEL FORCE INTERNATIONAL
Used for world wide delivery on items over 2 kilo's and parcel is always subject to a volumised weight limit system. This means that large, bulkier items like wheels frames and cycles may incur higher costs than their weight alone would indicate Cost estimates will be given to customer before order is accepted. Item can be tracked at most stages.
TNT
For larger International orders we sometimes use TNT. We usually check both TNT and Parcel Force prices before offering you the most competitive. TNT is a fully trackable service.
SHIPPING COSTS - UK AND REST OF THE WORLD
All UK mainland orders are free delivery. There are some exceptions to this. Bulkier or heavier items requiring delivery to Northern Ireland, The Isle of Man, The Scilly Islands and the Scottish Highlands and Islands may be subject to either a £6 or a £12 surcharge. This will be communicated to you by E-mail before the order is accepted or processed.
Please note that the Channel Islands are classed as an International destination and post and packing charges may apply.
For all UK orders the final postage charge will show on your order when you reach the checkout screen.
PART ORDERS
For orders consisting of multiple items we will post out part of your order if we don't have all of the items requested. This applies to UK orders only. Multiple International orders are subject to different terms. We will always contact the buyer and give him availability, delivery and delivery cost options before accepting the order.
DELIVERY TIME
We always endeavour to deliver the item ordered in as quick a time as possible. To this end we use a variety of delivery and courier firms. These companies offer various guarantees and delivery times. They generally manage to keep their promises on such things, but we are always in their hands once the goods have left our premises. For this reason we never give a 100% guarantee of any particular delivery time and delivery time is NEVER a specific term or condition of your contract with us. In the rare event that a delay occurs in your item being delivered, all the companies we deal with have specific procedures and timescales for investigating lost or delayed parcels. We CANNOT short circuit that procedure and unfortunately you will have to abide by their terms. If you want a replacement item to be sent out before their investigations and procedures are complete, you will have to pay for it as a separate transaction and a refund will be given when the procedures are complete and the original item is declared lost. When you place an order with us, you accept these conditions as part of your contract.
MY ITEM HAS NOT ARRIVED
If your item(s) does not arrive in the time span suggested via Royal Mail/Parcel Force/TNT or any other Courier, then we will be able to investigate the problem for you. The first step is for you to give us a call on 0115 9411133 and we will start the ball rolling.
Royal Mail's procedure for lost items and incorrect deliveries are that we must wait 2 weeks before registering an item as lost. Once the item has been officially declared as lost via Royal Mail we will send a replacement or refund you for the lost item. If Royal Mail have a signature for an item and you have not received it then the same rules will apply while Royal Mail carry out a full investigation.
Parcel Force's procedure for lost items and incorrect deliveries are that we must wait up to 5 days before registering an item as lost. Once the item has been officially declared as lost via Parcel Force we will send a replacement or refund you for the lost item. If Parcel Force have a signature for an item and you have not received it then the same rules will apply while Parcel Force carry out a full investigation.
DELIVERY TO ANOTHER ADDRESS
We can only deliver orders to a different address other than the address the card is registered to if it is a work address*, therefore you must supply us with a company name. Please add the full company details into the Address & City/Town fields (you can type more into the text box than is shown). Please Note: We can only send orders from overseas to the billing address.
*On orders over £200, delivery can only be made to the address assigned to the credit/debit card used for payment, this only applies to your first purchase with us, subsequent orders can then be delivered to a work address. Full Terms and Conditions.
All bikes delivered to locations outside the UK will be sent in the same packaging as we receive them from our suppliers, to avoid damage in transit.
