RETURNING FOR REFUND/EXCHANGE
There is no need to contact us before you make a return unless you think that our help and advice may avoid you having to return the goods (in the case of a fitting problem etc).
The same thing applies to goods returned for refund, other than for faulty or incorrectly sent items. Our prices have the postage costs included, but if item is returned for refund, postage costs will not be refunded and a deduction to your refund will be made on the following scale.
CUSTOM BUILDS
When we custom build wheels/order wheel sets in or a bike for you, it is built specifically for you, and to your exact specification. This means that we are not obliged to accept back custom built/wheel sets items for a refund or exchange. Custom built wheels/wheel sets will be accepted back but a £15 per wheel charge will be levied on an exchange or refund, to cover the time and effort taken in creating the wheel. Custom Built Bikes will be accepted back but a minimum charge of £100 will be levied on an exchange or refund, to cover the time and effort taken in building the bike. In both cases the item must be completely unused and properly packaged for return to us. Return postage is the responsibility of the buyer so please ensure they are returned to us on an insured service. No responsibility can be accepted for damage in transit on returned items.
FAULTY, DAMAGED OR BROKEN?
All goods purchased from Rock and Roll Bikes are covered by a full warranty. The duration of this warranty is at least 1 year but some manufacturers offer extended warranty. Generally speaking, warranties cover manufacturing faults and defects but do not cover damage caused by crashing, abuse, general wear and tear etc. If you feel that the product you have purchased from Rock'n'Roll Bikes has developed a fault then please contact us before returning goods as many problems may be solved without you incurring postage costs. BICYCLE TRIALS FRAMES AND FORKSPlease note that there are special rules in place for frames and forks intended for use in Bicycle Trials. This is a very abusive sport and pastime. Most lightweight Trials frames are designed to give a competive advantage in their use and as such may not be suitable for everyday street riding or use by a less experienced rider. Please bear this in mind when selecting your frame. They do have a limited warranty of three months and any broken frames will be inspected thoroughly. If there are any dents or scratches which indicate a degree of abuse or accidental damage then a warranty claim will be rejected. This also applies to damage where the material has been taken beyond its elastic limit. Certain trials moves are particularly prone to causing such fatigue damage and we know the signs well. The frames are warranted against Faulty Materials or Workmanship. This definition does not cover the sort of damage described.
Notwithstanding the guarantee period, the management retains the right to offer a partial refund against new product which will reflect the type of use and the length of time that the frame has been used.

- We can only refund the cost of 1st Class Royal Mail or Standard Parcel Force Post for larger items. These are both standard services at the Post Office and should arrive within a few days.
- You may send goods back to us using Priority or Guaranteed services but we can only refund the approximate 1st class postage cost.
