Rim Tapes to fit drilled or pierced rims
Rims used in Bicycle Trials often have holes or piercings for reducing weight but also just to look pimp.
This clearly exposes the inner tube to more potential damage than a standard rim and also produces the phenomena of tube bulge, where the inflated tube bulges through the holes.
To counter this we have therefore evolved a range of reinforced plastic rim tapes to counter this problem. They are available in a broad range of sizes and colours and have the added bonus of protecting the tube from the rough and sharp edges which can result from the holes.
