YOUR CONTRACT
When you place an order for supply of goods on our website, you enter into a contract with us as your supplier. You undertake to make the purchase of the item or items and we undertake to supply them to you. This contract is subject to certain terms and conditions on both sides, and you as the purchaser and we as the supplier undertake to abide by those terms and conditions. If we as the supplier or you as the purchaser fail to abide by those terms and conditions, then a breach of contract will have taken place.
SITE USAGE
Making a purchase could not be easier. Just browse our Online Catalogue, and click on any items that you wish to buy and put them into the shopping basket. After you have finished your selection, click on "Order" and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to satisfy the order.
We accept most major credit cards for online orders. You will be asked to enter your card details and the name and the address of the card holder when you place the order. These details will be checked and we may hold an order until we receive the correct details. You will be contacted if we find the card or address details to be incorrect. We only bill your card when your order is ready to be dispatched.
DELIVERY INFO
Please note we can only deliver orders to a different address other than the address the card is registered to if it is a work address*, therefore you must supply us with a company name. Please add the full company details into the Address & City/Town fields (you can type more into the text box than is shown). Please Note: We can only send orders from overseas to the billing address.
*On orders over £200, delivery can only be made to the address assigned to the credit/debit card used for payment, this only applies to your first purchase with us, subsequent orders can then be delivered to a work address. For orders to mainland Europe (EU) and further a field, we will quote you the best postage costs by return Email or alternatively call us on 0115 9411133 and we can quote over the phone. We will only despatch upon confirmation that you are happy with that cost. For orders consisting of multiple items we will post out part of your order if we don't have all of the items requested within 4 days. This may affect your postage charge but we would contact you first for confirmation. We will only charge for the items posted and the postage charge will be modified to suit. Prices include VAT (Value Added Tax)* at the standard UK rate of 20%.
While we do our best to ensure prices are up to date and correct, errors may occur and in this case you will be contacted before your order is shipped.
*In the UK helmets/some children's cloths/some food products are VAT free.
RETURNS
Rock and Roll Bikes conform to the Distance Selling Regulations, which are designed to protect you when buying items by Mail Order. We offer a returns policy and are happy to accept items back for a refund or exchange if they don't fit, you've ordered the wrong things, the items are damaged or faulty upon receipt or you simply don't like what you've ordered.
BACK ORDERS
If your item is not in stock, we will back order for you. You will always be emailed with the option to cancel your order if you would rather not wait. Back ordered items are not charged until they are shipped.
PRICE MATCHING
The conditions of our price match policy are as follows: If the goods we sell are cheaper elsewhere, we will match that price. The identical goods must be in stock elsewhere at the point of purchase for the price match to be valid. Just tell us where you have found the goods cheaper and we will do the rest. Since Rock and Roll Bikes sells all their products to the UK mainland, post free, any post and packing charges levied by the alternative supplier must be added and included in the price being matched.
ACCURACY OF INFORMATION
We put a lot of time and effort into describing and photographing the products we sell using our own photographic studio. We also use manufacturer's websites and catalogues, but usually add our own descriptions. Although we try to ensure that every picture, description and price is 100% accurate, mistakes can occur, so we welcome your feedback if you spot a mistake. If you have purchased something based on a picture or description or price on the website which turns out to be incorrect we will be happy to replace or refund the product (unused).
Credit Card Security We know of no documented cases of credit card fraud using our shopping system over the Internet. All credit card numbers are encrypted in the software when the order is placed using 128 bit encryption. They are only decrypted after they reach our computer. They are not held in clear text on any web site. In certain aspects of your purchase, particularly delivery, a quick solution to a problem is not always possible as we are constrained within the policies of other associated companies. In such circumstances, no amount of harassment or verbally aggressive behaviour will speed that process up, so please behave in a civil, non confrontational manner at all times when dealing with our staff.
